The National Emergency Management Organisation (NEMO), through the Meteorological Office continues to monitor a Tropical wave located east of the island chain.

According to information received from the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Meteorological Office,  “A Tropical wave located east of the island chain is producing a large area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms. Development, if any, of this system is expected to be slow to occur while the wave moves at 10 to 15 mph”.


“Regardless of development, shower activity and gusty winds are possible across the islands today into Thursday”.


Residents in flood and landslide prone area are asked to be vigilant.


The Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Meteorological Office will continue to provide updates on the tropical wave.


The National Emergency Management Organisation (NEMO) is encouraging all to monitor the progress of the wave. NEMO will provide updates from the Meteorological Office as necessary.
