The Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Meteorological Services is monitoring the progress of a tropical wave, with an associated low-pressure center, located about 800 miles east of the Windward Islands.

Based on model guidance, some slow development is possible over the next few days as the system moves westward at 15 mph towards the southern Lesser Antilles.

Regardless of development, moderate to heavy showers, thunderstorms and gusty winds are likely to spread across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines by late Tuesday night, 18th July, into Wednesday 19th July. Marine conditions are also expected to deteriorate around the same period.

The Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Meteorological Services will continue to monitor this system and provide the necessary updates.
