The National Emergency Management Organisation (NEMO) invites all residents of Sandy Bay and surrounding communities to a meeting at the Sandy Bay Government School on Thursday, 19th August, 2021, at 3:00 p.m.
The purpose of this community meeting is to discuss the plan for persons who have been impacted by the eruption of the La Soufriere Volcano.
The meeting will be addressed by the Hon. Montgomery Daniel, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, Works, Lands and Physical Planning and Dr. The Hon. Orando Brewster, Minister of National Mobilisation, Social Development, Local Government, Gender Affairs, Family Affairs, Housing and Informal Settlement.
Residents are asked to make a special effort to attend this community meeting on Thursday, 19th August, 2021, beginning at 3:00 p.m. at the Sandy Bay Government School.
