ARRANGE A SONG. BUILD THE MIND. DOWN WITH VIOLENCE AND CRIME.”
The Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Department Maritime Administration hosted its Third Annual World Maritime Day Essay Competition to commemorate World Maritime Day on 28th September 2023 under the theme “MARPOL AT 50 – Our commitment goes on”. The theme highlights the International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (MARPOL).
Unstable conditions associated with a trough system is expected to affect the Southern Windward Islands including Saint Vincent and the Grenadines from tonight with activity lingering over the next few days.
November 5, 2023 is commemorated all around the world, as “World Tsunami Awareness Day” (WTAD). This is being done annually to raise public awareness of the deadly threat posed by tsunamis and to share innovative approaches to reducing risk.

On Tuesday, October 31, 2003, the remaining seven members of course number 17, celebrated twenty-five years of service in the illustrious organization of the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF), as well as to the Government and People of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
