As part of our rehabilitation mandate, and in an effort to encourage and reward good behavior amongst our prison inmates, the annual Christmas treat will commence at His Majesty’s Prisons and the Belle Isle Correctional Facility, and will run as follows:

The National Lotteries Authority (NLA) of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) has made a significant financial contribution to the hosting of the Police Christmas Caroling Contest.

The Crime Prevention Unit (CPU) of the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force in collaboration with the National Commission on Crime Prevention (NCCP) will host the National Crime Prevention March and Exhibition on Friday, December 8th, 2023, under the theme “Building Resilient Communities Through Crime Prevention.”

A broad area of moisture associated with a trough system will influence the weather pattern across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines from Wednesday, 6th up to the end of this forecast period.

The National Emergency Management Organisation in collaboration with the World Food Programme (WFP), through funding from the Government of Canada, the European Union and the USAID Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance will conduct a Forklift Operation and Certification Training during the period December 6 - 7, 2023.
