The Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Department Maritime Administration hosted its Third Annual World Maritime Day Essay Competition to commemorate World Maritime Day on 28th September 2023 under the theme “MARPOL AT 50 – Our commitment goes on”. The theme highlights the International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (MARPOL).
The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) in collaboration with the National Commission on Crime Prevention (NCCP) and the Pan against Crime Committee (PAC) presents The PAC 15th Anniversary Concert under the theme “PLAY A PAN. ARRANGE A SONG. BUILD THE MIND. DOWN WITH VIOLENCE AND CRIME.”
November 5, 2023 is commemorated all around the world, as “World Tsunami Awareness Day” (WTAD). This is being done annually to raise public awareness of the deadly threat posed by tsunamis and to share innovative approaches to reducing risk.
