St. Vincent and the Grenadines Coast Guard Summer Programme Closing Ceremony will take place on Saturday, 26th August, 2023, at the Coast Guard Base, Calliaqua, commencing at 3:00 p.m.

Unstable conditions linger near the islands and lower-mid level moisture could support a few scattered showers, with isolated thunderstorms across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) tonight.

The atmosphere will remain relatively unstable across the region, therefore, fair conditions can be interrupted with a few scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines during the next 3 days.

The National Emergency Management Organisation (NEMO) through funding from the United States Agency for International Development Policy and Regulatory Reform for Resilience Activity (USAID Prose) will conduct a Stakeholders Consultation on Thursday, 24th August, 2023 to update the National Comprehensive Disaster Management (CDM) Strategy and Implementation Plan for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

The National Emergency Management Organisation (NEMO) in collaboration with the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA) Coordinating Unit and the University of the West Indies (The UWI) is hosting a series of Stakeholders Meetings to validate the results of the application of the Caribbean Community Risk Information Tool (CCRIT) in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
