The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Meteorological Services continues to closely monitor an area of low pressure located near latitude 12° North, longitude 42° West, or about 1310 miles (2108 kilometers) east of SVG.

Moderate to heavy showers, isolated thunderstorms and occasional gusty winds are forecast as the new week gradually progresses.

Low-level moisture associated with a shear-line lingers across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG), with occasionally cloudy skies, a few showers and possibly isolated thunderstorms.

Partly cloudy to occasionally cloudy skies with a low chance of showers are forecast from Friday into Sunday, with the chance increasing as Sunday progresses into Monday as a tropical wave moves closer to the island chain.

The upcoming days are forecast to be hazy and breezy at times, with a high chance of showers as instability from a shear line affects the island chain, followed by a tropical wave.
