A Tropical Storm Watch is issued when sustained winds of 39 – 73 mph (63 – 118kmh) associated with a tropical storm is possible, in this case within the next 24 hours.

A Tropical Storm Watch is now in effect for St. Vincent and the Grenadines for Tropical Storm Bret.

Recent data received from an Air Force Reserve Hurricane Hunter reconnaissance aircraft indicates that storm force winds will extend further south than previously anticipated.

The chance of showers increases from Wednesday night into the weekend as Tropical Storm Bret dominates the weather pattern across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
