The following are the services which the Department offers:
- Processing all Travel Documents: Passports (Diplomatic, Official, Ordinary),
Emergency Certificates and Emergency Passports - Clearing of Vessels
- Extensions of Entry Permits
- Amendments that were previously granted for persons holding machine readable passports will no longer be optional for persons holding the new electronic passports. Individuals seeking to have a name change would be required to have a complete change of their passport. Persons are advised to consult the immigration department regarding the process.
- Express Service is granted to persons under the age of 12 years. It may also be granted to persons 12 years and over depending on the request and other circumstances.
All Passports are processed at the Head Office in Kingstown. There is, however, a decentralisation of passport services for citizens who live in the Grenadines.
Applications for Diplomatic Passports are issued from the Immigration Department within one day of receipt of the information from the Prime Minister’s Office.
Application forms for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG), passports can be lodged at the SVG consulate offices in New York and Canada and the SVG High Commission in the U.K.
