Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Coast Guard Service (SVGCGS) will hold a graduation ceremony for the Regional Security System (RSS) Basic Coxswain Course on Friday, August 26, 2022, at the Coast Guard Base in Calliaqua commencing at 10:00 a.m.
The course was held for four weeks and aimed to equip Coast Guard and Maritime Law Enforcement Officers with the basic skills required to coxswain small boats.
There will be the presentation of certificates to all participants of the course, also, outstanding students will be highlighted and recognized.
Remarks will be delivered by Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mr. Frankie Joseph, Commanding Coast Guard Officer, Lieutenant Commander Deon Henry, and RSS Representative, Lieutenant Edric Hargreaves. The featured address will be delivered by retired Coast Guard Commander, Mr. Brenton Cain.
