The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) in collaboration with the National Commission on Crime Prevention (NCCP), the Police Band, and the Redemption Sharpes Police Youth Club will conduct a Walkabout and Community Concert on Thursday, January 25, 2024, in Redemption Sharpes.

The Western Atlantic High Pressure System is building, with increasing wind speeds bringing patches of low-level clouds/occasionally cloudy skies and a few scattered showers across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG).

Occasional isolated showers may interrupt fair conditions for the remainder of Thursday as unstable conditions linger across the SVG.

Low level moisture is expected to fluctuate during the next few days, while mid to upper levels remain relatively dry.

The National Emergency Management Organisation (NEMO), in collaboration with the University of the West Indies (UWI) Seismic Research Center and the Ministry of Education convened an Earthquake Tsunami Teacher Awareness Workshop on Tuesday, January 16, at the University of the West Indies Global Campus.
