Moderate-fresh (25 - 35km/h) breeze across our islands could start increasing Sunday afternoon, as ‘Beryl’ nears SVG and winds of hurricane (90 - 110km/h) strength are possible during Monday.

At 11am, Hurricane Beryl was located near latitude 10.7° north; longitude 54.9° West, or approximately 457 miles (735 kilometers) East South East of SVG.

The Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force Coast Guard Services is excited to announce the commencement of its annual summer program, “Shaping our Youths for the High Seas,” beginning July 15, 2024.

This Hurricane Warning means that hurricane conditions are expected within Saint Vincent and the Grenadines within 36 hours.

The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Meteorological Services continues to closely monitor a Tropical Wave with an associated area of low pressure located over the Eastern Atlantic along longitude 38° West, or about 1585 miles (2550 kilometers) East of SVG.
