The 12:00 a.m. weather update from the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Meteorological Service states that Investigation by reconnaissance aircraft this afternoon indicated that the strong tropical wave to the east of Barbados has not yet become a tropical depression.

Weather Update - Tropical Disturbance In The Atlantic

The Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Meteorological Office is monitoring the progress of a strong tropical wave located about 910 miles/1465 km to the east of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. The system is moving westward to west-northwestward at about 15 to 20 mph (24 to 32 km/h), with an accompanying area of low pressure centered along the wave axis near 10N 48W.
