Lower-level clouds converging across our islands could bring a few showers across Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) tonight.
The National Emergency Management Organisation (NEMO) wishes to advise all coastal residents, sea bathers and fisher folks to avoid using the sea over the next three days as long period waves could produce life-threatening surf and rip currents that can impact the shores of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines from early Monday morning into Wednesday.
The National Emergency Management Organisation (NEMO) is collaborating with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Ministry of National Mobilisation etc., the Sustainable Development Unit, the Forestry Division, the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Red Cross Society, the Ministry of Health and the World Food Programme (WFP) under the EnGenDER Project – “Designing and implementing behavioural change communication activities and targeted advocacy campaigns at the country level across the EnGenDER countries.”
