A four member delegation from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines led by the Hon. St. Clair Prince, Minister of Education, National Reconciliation and Information is participating in the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA) 11th Caribbean Conference on Comprehensive Disaster Management being held in St. Maarten from December 2nd - 6th, 2019.
The National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) said that Saint Vincent and the Grenadines will soon be named a Tsunami Smart/Tsunami Ready country.
The second in a series of five-day training sessions, under the Volcano Ready communities Project, will be held this week which began on 4th November.
A National Consultation to review the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Tsunami Warning Protocol will take place at the National Emergency Management Organisation (NEMO) office on Tuesday, 8th October - Wednesday, 9th October, 2019 beginning at 8:30 a.m. each day.
